Gas Cooktops

Dual Stacked?  Wolf has cleverly designed their gas burners to be two burners in one.  The most powerful burner sits on top so that the high-powered flame is in direct contact with the pot or wok, providing instant heat with up to 18mj of power.

That’s fine for that fast heat needed for wok cooking or heating up a large pasta pot, but what about those delicate dishes that tend to stick to the bottom of the pan?

That’s where the dual stacked burner comes in.  Set underneath the main burner and recessed so that the flame doesn’t impinge on the base of the pan, is a second burner.  The single control knob turns off the main burner and automatically ignites the simmer burner.  Chocolate can be left on with no hint of sticking or burning when the turn down is at 0.3 mj.

Many believe this has the same flexibility of an induction cook-top.   But the benefit of gas is instant control at your fingertips.
